Today’s Cross Country, a one hour weekly Christian Country music show with Host, Marty Smith, brings the best in Christian Country music straight to you! “I am so excited to be working exclusively with Radioactive Airplay”, says Marty Smith, award winning D.J. and Host of Today’s Cross Country. “They’ve got a great track record and incredible opportunities to share the Gospel with so many people!”

The show offers interviews from the artists, some Christian Country Classics, plus it gives listeners the stories behind the music and an opportunity to get to know their favorite Christian Country Artists. “The idea was to bridge the gap between the listener and the artist,” says Marty, “We wanted the listener to learn more about their favorite artists. Today’s Cross Country gives the artist an opportunity to open up and share from the heart, and to touch the listener in a way they’ve never been touched before.”

“We’ve got a great lineup during the month of August,” says Marty, “During the week of August 9th, Brett Hill joins us, August 16th we hear from Hunter Erwin, August 23 is Terri Gibbs, and we’re proud to announce that Guy Penrod from the Gaither Vocal Band will be joining us during the week of August 30th.” Be looking for Today’s Cross Country! Add it to your station programming today!

According to Charles Brady of Radioactive Airplay, “When I listened to the show demo that Marty sent us I knew we wanted our DJ’s and Program Directors to have this great weekly show for their stations. The production quality is just top-notch and the artists and song selection and the spirit in which the show is presented really makes Today’s Cross Country one the top programs for Christian Country music.”

DJ’s are encouraged to sign up for the weekly show by signing up for the new Radio Direct Connect service offered through Radioactive Airplay. Com

(Beauvais, the voice of animated character, Elf Sparkle, is nominated, along with best actor nominee, John de Lancie.
Both for roles in upcoming Christmas cartoon, Elf Sparkle Meets Christmas The Horse)

Nashville, TN (July 13, 2010) – Christian music’s multi-talented, Donna Beauvais, is nominated for best actress in the upcoming Alaska International Film Festival for her role as Elf Sparkle in an independent animated cartoon entitled, Elf Sparkle Meets Christmas The Horse. Co-star of the film, John de Lancie, best known for his role as Q in the Star Trek series, is also nominated, for best actor for his portrayal of Santa Claus. In addition to the best actress nod, Beauvais is also nominated for Best Music Video, where she sings one of the featured songs from the cartoon, “Christmas Is Coming,” written by French song-writer, Cedric Coche. Awards will be handed out during the film festival in Anchorage, Alaska on July 15th, 2010.

Many Christian music fans will remember Beauvais for her years in the dynamic trio Hope’s Call. Hope’s Call was a family group whose success was marked by numerous award nominations, top 10 songs in both the Southern Gospel and Soft AC Christian radio markets, but, most importantly, a strong focus on the spiritual impact of music in the lives of people. The group toured fulltime all over the US, as well as, Canada for seven years, before coming home from the road to begin new seasons in their lives. Beauvais’ home base is Franklin, TN, where she is owner and president of Vertical Sky. She is a producer, songwriter, and radio promoter for Daywind Records and independent artists. She wears several other music and media related hats, as well. Being the voice of an animated cartoon character is the newest of her many career opportunities. She will attest that it is also one of the most wonderful experiences of her life.

Beauvais shares, “The way that this opportunity came to be could only be God and God alone. The writer of these precious childrens’ animated cartoons, Beth Roose, had heard Hope’s Call’s Christmas recording. Her first cartoon was a Christmas one, and so she contacted us and asked us to be a part of the endeavor by singing in it. We happily accepted and made our first trip back into the studio, after coming off the road, to record several of the songs in the cartoon. One thing led to another, and before I knew it, Beth and her team asked if I would be the voice of the main character, Elf Sparkle. My first reaction was ‘ME??’ The answer was YES! I now have three cartoons completed and another about to get underway. To say this experience is fun would be a major understatement. When my kids were young, I’d watch cartoons with them and always imagine myself playing a character with a singing role. God sure does know even the unspoken desires of our heart! I am so thankful for the amazing Beth Roose, along with Joyce Cannon, and the many others that have come into my life as a result of this experience. I have acted along side Margaret O’Brien (Meet Me In St. Louis), John de Lancie (co-nominee), Rob Schneider (comedian and actor in countless big screen movies), Catherine Hicks (7th Heaven), and more. Somebody pinch me! I can hardly believe it, but I am having a blast!”

Ken Mann hosts “The Carolina Gospel Road”, a four station syndicated program in North Carolina. He states, “This is one of the best songs I have heard in a while”.
”The song “Everybody Needs Jesus” has a powerful message and delivers a solid reminder to those of us who know salvation through God’s grace for what HIS son, Jesus did on the cross for us. In a world that is hurting, the message is that truly “Everybody Needs Jesus.” Thanks to the group One Voice for the reminder that we need to take the Gospel message of Jesus Christ to the world. May this song touch lives and change hearts for the Glory of God the Father.”

Randy Negley, Owner & DJ, Southern Gospel for Central New York Internet Radio”

“This is one of the most powerful songs for today. Acutally the message is just for today. It is something everyone must hear. And for sure every radio station needs this song in heavy rotation. I thank you for such a quality song and what an awesome talent, One Voice. They will go very far.”

Pastor Steve Robinette, WVSG Radio, Pecks Mill, WV

“This song reminds Christians of the practical outworking of being a Christian, sharing the life changing gospel with everyone, because everyone needs Jesus. If more people lived out this song, there would be a lot more Christians and a lot less brokeness in this world.”

Rod Petersen…CIOT 104.1 FM, Nipawin Sask, Canada

“This one is definitely a keeper. Southern Gospel at its best! ‘Everybody Needs Jesus’..One Voice presents Bible truth with tight vocals and a unique Gospel sound.”

May 18, 2010 (Alexandria, IN) – On July 24, 2010, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound will present a Cathedrals Tribute concert & video taping at Reardon Auditorium on the campus of Anderson University. The evening will be hosted by Bill Gaither and will feature Ernie Haase, Devin McGlamery, Doug Anderson and Tim Duncan singing the best-loved songs from The Cathedrals’ legendary repertoire of quartet standards. With their own unique style, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound will honor their quartet heritage while breathing new energy into gospel hits that have been favorites for decades.

Ernie is thrilled for this chance to honor his heroes, stating: “It is no secret that I loved (and still love) The Cathedral Quartet! As a young teenager, I had a poster of them on my wall right next to my favorite sports icon. George and Glen were as big as Larry Bird and Pete Rose to me…even more so because their music changed and formed my life.

“To have been part of George & Glen’s history and to have been there for the last 10 years was nothing less than ‘epic’ for me. Now, ten years after The Cathedrals retirement, we are blessed beyond words to be able to revisit 20 of The Cathedrals most popular songs. We have been working on this project for the last two years, giving our heart and soul for the two greatest gospel singers to ever grace the stage… George Younce and Glen Payne. Together ‘THEY’ were The Cathedral Quartet and there will never be another. I hope EH&SS listeners, as well as the old Cathedral fans, will be blessed and happy with what we have done to say ‘thanks’ to these great men.”

Friends and fans can be a part of history by attending the live taping. The concert time is 6:00 p.m. on July 24 at Reardon Auditorium in Anderson, Indiana. Tickets for Ernie Haase & Signature Sound’s Cathedrals Tribute are now on sale at the Reardon Auditorium box office ($25 or $20 pricing available depending on seat location) and can be reserved by phone at 1-800-745-3000 or online through Ticketmaster
